Terms of Service for Koyo / JTEKT Bearing Enquiries and Orders

These terms explain how Part Number Company, a Koyo / JTEKT bearing supplier, handles part number enquiries, written quotations, order confirmation, shipping and receiving inspection for buyers worldwide.

EFFECTIVE APPLIES TO koyojtekt.com

01

Who We Are

Part Number Company is a Koyo / JTEKT bearing supplier that supplies Koyo and JTEKT bearings to industrial equipment and replacement-part buyers worldwide through koyojtekt.com.

Part Number Company acts as a supplier. It does not describe itself as an authorized distributor, official agent or manufacturer of Koyo or JTEKT products.

Koyo and JTEKT names appear on this website only to identify the bearings we supply and the references buyers send us. By submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you accept these terms together with any terms stated in the written quotation for that order.

02

Enquiries and Part Identification

Quotations are prepared from the identification information you provide, so the buyer is responsible for making sure all markings, packaging references and equipment or vehicle details are accurate.

Enquiries may be sent by WhatsApp or email. To avoid repeated follow-up, include:

  • All Koyo / JTEKT markings on the bearing body
  • Packaging label references, if different from the body marking
  • Equipment or vehicle identification for automotive and application-specific parts
  • Quantity, destination country, postcode and required delivery date

Before a quotation is accepted

  1. The specific execution (variant) of each reference is confirmed with the buyer.
  2. The buyer confirms whether a complete assembly or a single component is required.
  3. Any substitute or replacement reference is stated separately in the quotation and is never supplied silently in place of the requested part.

Any technical change to a requested part requires the buyer's approval before the order proceeds.

03

Written Quotations

Every order is based on a written quotation that states the commercial details below; items not stated in the written quotation are not part of the offer.

Quotation item What it confirms
Product referenceThe exact Koyo / JTEKT part number quoted, including any separately stated substitute
QuantityUnits quoted per reference
Price and currencyUnit price and the currency it is quoted in
Stock statusAvailability at the time of quotation
Estimated lead timeExpected time to dispatch or delivery
Validity periodHow long the quoted price and terms remain open
Shipping and tax termsThe applicable transport and tax conditions for the order

Stock status and lead time are estimates at the time of quotation. After the validity period ends, prices and availability must be reconfirmed.

04

Order Confirmation

An order is placed only after the buyer has reviewed the quotation and confirmed the following five points with Part Number Company:

  • Specification
  • Quantity
  • Delivery details
  • Payment method
  • Commercial terms

Once confirmed, these details form the basis of the order. Changes requested after confirmation must be agreed in writing by both parties.

05

Shipping and Shipping Documents

The shipping method, dispatch timing and shipping documents required for each order are confirmed at the time the order is placed.

  • Shipping method: agreed per order, based on destination and required delivery date.
  • Dispatch timing: confirmed against the stock status and lead time in the quotation.
  • Shipping documents: tell us which documents your import or customs process needs before ordering.

06

Product Documentation

Only the product documentation confirmed at the quotation stage is supplied with an order.

If your customers, auditors or internal procedures need specific product documents, ask which documents can actually be supplied when you request the quotation. Documents not confirmed at that stage are not part of the order.

07

Receiving Inspection

Buyers should inspect every delivery on receipt, checking product labels, quantity and visible condition against the order.

  1. Step 1

    Check labels

Compare the product label with the reference in the order.

  2. Step 2

    Count quantity

Confirm units received match units ordered per reference.

  3. Step 3

    Inspect condition

Look for visible damage to packaging or bearings.

If anything does not match, contact us with your order number and photos of the labels, quantity or condition issue.

08

Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

The limitation of liability and governing law that apply to an order are those stated in the written quotation or order confirmation for that order.

Limitation of liability

Part Number Company is responsible for supplying the reference, quantity and documentation confirmed in the order. Responsibility for selecting a part for a particular application rests with the buyer, based on the identification information the buyer provides.

Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction for an order are set out in its written terms. If they are not stated, ask us to confirm them in writing before you place the order.
